Amerigo announces listing of warrants

AMERIGO RESOURCES LTD. (Vancouver, British Columbia) has received approval for the listing of 21,146,819 warrants on the TSX Venture Exchange at the opening on December 18, 2003. Each warrant is exercisable into a common share of Amerigo until June 18, 2005 at an exercise price of CDN$0.70. The warrants will trade under the symbol ARG.WT.

These warrants were issued as part of the units sold under Amerigo's $28 million financing completed in June and July 2003, the proceeds of which funded Amerigo's acquisition of Minera Valle Central (MVC), Amerigo's Chilean copper production subsidiary.
