Annual Information Form and Technical Reports Filed

AMERIGO RESOURCES LTD. announced today that audited financial statements for the year ended February 28, 2003 have been filed on SEDAR, together with the company’s annual information form and technical reports regarding the operations of Minera Valle Central, S.A. (MVC) and the company’s Island Copper property.  Shareholder’s are invited to review the materials both on SEDAR and the Company’s web site.

Amerigo Resources Ltd. is a Canadian junior exploration company with properties in Ontario and Quebec.  In addition to the option to acquire MVC, Amerigo is exploring for Olympic Dam style copper-gold deposits on four properties in the Sault Ste. Marie area of Ontario.
