Final Bridge Repairs at El Teniente Underway

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – March 27/CNW/Amerigo Resources Ltd. (TSX:ARG) ("Amerigo" or the "Company") is pleased to announce today that El Teniente has started final repairs to the bridge and adjoining section of the tailings launder leading to El Teniente's Caren tailings impoundment.

As announced by Amerigo in a previous press release, in order to effect the repairs El Teniente has commenced the diversion of fresh tailings from MVC and into the Colihues tailings impoundment. El Teniente estimates that the completion of this work and continuing diversion of fresh tailings should take approximately 10 to 14 days.

Amerigo will provide a further update after El Teniente has completed the repairs.
