Amerigo Resources Ltd. Copper Sales in Pounds Corrected

AMERIGO RESOURCES LTD. (Vancouver, British Columbia) reported that the results released earlier today for the ten-month period ended December 31, 2003 contained an error in the copper production statistics. The fourth paragraph of the news release should read that Amerigo sold 14.42 million pounds of copper. Amerigo previously reported that sales were 12.092 million pounds. There is no change to the financial statements.
